RIYADH: The Arab European Cities Dialogue began in Riyadh, gathering over 100 mayors and global experts to strengthen urban cooperation.
Organized by Riyadh Municipality under the theme “City Partnerships for a Better Future,” the event focuses on livable cities, sustainability, and digital transformation. It runs through May 13.
Riyadh Mayor Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf emphasized historical Arab-European ties and the shared goal of building human-centered cities.
Key discussions include city diplomacy, environmental sustainability, and youth leadership.
The forum also aims to launch academic and diplomatic city programs, highlighting Riyadh’s growing global urban role.
